The FFA is the official club of all the agricultural classes offered at Central. Ag classes and the FFA are not just for students who live on farms, but also for students who like working with their hands and learning about ag related subjects. The FFA adds to the ag class experience by making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth, and career success.

Improving the Soil at Central

The Central FFA helped improve Central's school grounds by planting sod and grass in the waterway south of the baseball field. All of the labor was performed by the senior ag students. A skid steer was donated by Markus Backhoe & Trenching, owner Jim Markus. His son Matt ran the backhoe and filled in the larger washed out areas with soil then leveled them off. The seniors did an outstanding
job of trying to secure the waterway from washing out more.
