Plan Goals:
The
purpose of the C.C.H.S. Internet Safety Plan is to provide awareness for
students in using the Internet and the importance of maintaining safe practices
on the Internet. The release of private
information on the Internet can have serious consequences. Students also need to be able to recognize
inappropriate uses of the Internet and avoid violations of protected
information. It is the goal of this plan
to provide knowledge of the ramifications of Internet abuse and instruction on
safe Internet practices.
Stakeholders:
All C.C.H.S.
Faculty and Staff members are responsible to utilize safe Internet practices
and responsible for the instruction of students on the techniques of Internet
safety. The entire school and all
members of the community have a stake in the utilization of the Internet in the
best possible manner. The Internet
