The Organization's Purpose
Central Community High School created an avenue through which parents and community members can assist in making the school more effective for students. The School Community Council acquires input and generates support from the community regarding greater parental involvement. The council is made up of parents, community members, and C.C.H.S. staff members brought together for periodic discussion sessions to brainstorm ideas on programs and services. The goals are to increase the visibility of Central Community High School in the community, help make the educational process more effective through parental involvement, and provide informational community education programs. The School Community Council strongly believes that more informed and involved parents translate directly into a more positive educational environment and more successful students.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the C.C.H.S. School Community Council, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Kevin Meyer at 526-4578.
We are committed to planning and promoting activities that develop parental support and engage community members.
