This year's Polar Plunge was held on March 24. Thank you to Gina Benhoff for organizing the event and bringing awareness to our school about students with disabilities and what the Special Olympics is all about. Our students raised over $2000 this year, which meant Dr. Foutch and Mr. FreezeI had to “plunge” for twenty seconds.

Parent Teacher Conferences were held on March 28 along with our 1st annual freshmen college and career readiness meeting. The freshmen meeting was conducted by Wendy Jones and Gina Benhoff, and we had 17 families attend. The feedback was good and they all appreciated the early information.

The Addams Family musical was held here at Central on March 30 and April 1. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew for three excellent performances! The need to make adjustments to the performance schedule due to the weather was not ideal, but everyone took it in stride and made the best of the situation. Big thanks goes to Lauren Langhauser, Brodie Ordaz and Jill Varel for all the long hours they put in for our kids.

Angie Kohlbrecher held the 8th Grade Math Contest on April 5. Students from all feeder schools were in attendance and competed in a highly competitive academic environment. Congratulations to all the students who came to compete.

SAT/PSAT State Testing was held on Wednesday, April 12. All freshmen - juniors were in attendance for the required test. The biggest thanks to Trisha Lohman and Wendy Jones for organizing the entire day, from the testing side of things to the teacher and student assignments.
